Lutron shades and automation in Coconut Grove.

This Coconut Grove project combined Lutron motorized shades with updates to the home’s automation. The work brought window treatments and home technology into the same improvement, with everyday convenience and a more modern living environment at its center.

A home that needed simpler everyday control.

The homeowner wanted a more convenient way to manage window treatments and everyday home controls. The challenge was to make the home feel more current while reducing the effort involved in adjusting the space throughout the day.

The brief called for window treatments and home technology to be considered together, with a focus on simpler daily use.

03 · The solution provided

Motorized shades. Updated home automation.

Miami Design Group installed Lutron motorized shades and updated the home automation. The shades addressed the window-treatment portion of the project, while the automation updates extended the improvements to everyday home control.

Motorization allows shade adjustment without manually moving the covering. Paired with the automation work, it gives this project a practical focus beyond appearance: making the home easier to use.
